Client Document Upload Instructions
To protect your personal information, all tax documents must be uploaded through our secure document folder. Please follow the steps below carefully.
To protect your personal information, all tax documents must be uploaded through our secure document folder. Please follow the steps below carefully.
You will receive an email with a secure Google Drive folder link assigned specifically to you.
Click the link in the email
Sign in with a Google account (you may use any Google account)
Only you and Knowles It All Tax Services can access this folder
⚠️ Do not share this link with anyone else
Once inside your folder:
Click “New” → “File upload”
Select files from your computer or phone
Wait for uploads to fully complete before closing the page
You may upload documents all at once or in multiple sessions.
Please name your files clearly to avoid delays. Use this format when possible:
W-2 – Employer Name – 2024
1099-NEC – Company Name – 2024
1099-INT – Bank Name – 2024
Photo ID – Taxpayer
Last Year Tax Return – 2023
Do not zip files unless instructed.
Upload all documents that apply to your situation, including but not limited to:
W-2s
1099 forms (NEC, MISC, INT, DIV, R, etc.)
Social Security statements
Prior-year tax return (if available)
Photo ID
Business income and expense records
Any IRS letters received
If you are unsure whether to upload a document, upload it anyway.
Once all documents are uploaded:
Do not delete or edit files after uploading
Notify us that your uploads are complete
We will review and contact you if anything is missing
This folder is encrypted and access-controlled
Email attachments are not accepted
Text messages and social media uploads are not secure and will not be used
